Laser Vein Therapy
Gone are the days of painful injections to remove superficial facial veins and spider veins found on the legs. At Avante Medical Aesthetics, we use the most advanced laser available, the Cutera® Xeo, to treat a broad range of troubling vessels for men and women of all skin tones. All it takes is just a few pulses of light energy to safely and effectively eliminate tiny spider veins to deep blue reticular veins. In addition, blood blisters or “hemangiomas” respond very well, with usually just one treatment. 

As with all our procedures, your comfort is a priority. That’s why we use the CoolGlide tip on all patients. The hand-held tip allows our staff to cool the area just prior to the light pulse and immediately cool the area after.

How it Works
Our technologically advanced laser delivers pulses of light energy into the vein, which causes the blood within it to coagulate. This ultimately destroys the vessel, causing it to be absorbed into your body. The blood flow will then be redirected to veins deeper below your skin’s surface.

What to Expect After Treatment
While small, facial veins can be treated without bruising, on occasion, spider veins and large blue leg vein treatments can cause slight bruising or blistering. Localized swelling may also exist for up to 24 hours after treatment. When larger veins are treated, a tan or brownish pigment may persist for a few weeks or months following treatment.
